Our Commitment

Sabará Group, through Sabará Chemicals and Ingredients, BioE and Concepta Ingredients business units, demonstrates its commitment to conserving biodiversity and water resources, recognizing the importance of these elements in reducing the negative impacts of climate change and building a more sustainable future.

This commitment is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which the Group actively seeks to integrate into its operations.

Sabará Group's ESG strategy is based on three pillars:

UN Recognition

In June 2016, Ulisses Matiolli Sabará, president of Sabará Group, was recognized as a Local SDG Pioneer during the UN Global Compact Leaders Conference, held in New York.

The conference announced the ten Local SDG Pioneers, business leaders and agents of change committed to encouraging actions and businesses aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), who were chosen from more than 600 applicants from 100 countries around the world.

Ulisses Sabará was selected due to his efforts aligned with Goal number 15 - Life on Land, dedicated to protecting, restoring and promoting sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably managing forests, combating desertification, halting and reversing land degradation and halting biodiversity loss.
